A scrupulous writer. In every sentence that he writes, will ask himself at least four questions, thus:

– What am I trying to say?
– What words will express it?
– What image or idiom will make it clearer?
– Is this image fresh enough to have an effect?

  1. This post relates to one I wrote today – about inner thoughts subversively surfacing in the written word. My post was inspired by a poem I published on WP yesterday. I wrote it a while back, in a spirit of fun, but it was interpreted very differently, and the comments made me wonder whether that had been my intention all along.

    Poetry is a different medium to prose – and particularly to non-fiction, being far more open to interpretation. Also there is a tendency for poets to meander away from the original plan – which often works well – but I’ll write your four excellent questions on a notepad beside my laptop, and refer to them often.

      I’m just giving my opinion and actually, sometimes I forget what my purpose in writing because my carelessness.

      • I also forget what the purpose of my blog was – I hadn’t planned to write poetry, but I enjoy it, so that’s what I do mostly now.
        You say you’re just giving your opinion but that was a good post, written with authority.

        Actually the purpose of the blog is not important because if you always writing and tell what you feel, and words can describe it. Will look beautiful and tenderly.
        Just tell your story and add a touch of it will be looks wonderful. Hopefully, by writing we can live forever. are you already read this “Me and A Million Emotion”? I hope you read it🙂
